Diversity Programme: Digitalife offer a programme of corporate-level support for managing diversity in the workplace to ensure that policies and practices are promoted and integrated into the work environment. We deliver an array of accredited professional training, vocational and certified courses, and bespoke programmes in Social Inclusion and Diversity. These programmes can be offered to senior management teams and diversity practitioners, to ensure that the diversity needs of all stakeholders are addressed and optimized for overall business success.

One of our key courses, Managing Diversity in the Workplace, is a modular programme of qualifications for the continuous and professional development of individuals working in the area of diversity management. This unique programme was developed in response to needs expressed by employers both within the private and public sectors across the UK. A central aim of the programme is to support diversity practitioners in improving their organisation and to set their role on a more professional footing.

On successful completion of course learners qualify for the BTEC Professional Diploma, Certificate or Award. The programme is quality assured and accredited by Edexcel as a Centre-Devised set of qualifications at level 4 on the UK Qualifications Framework.

The programme has been continuously developed by Digitalife since 1998, and has subsequently received support from the former Bradford Training and Enterprise Council, Yorkshire Forward, West Yorkshire Learning and Skills Council and Bradford City Council under the ESF EQUAL initiative.

Enterprise Programme: Digitalife are the leading agency for women in enterprise and employment in the Bradford District. Through our award-winning Supporting Opportunities for Women in Enterprise programme, we address the economic empowerment of women through training, enterprise, business and self-employment.

We achieve this by providing learning opportunities, business support and coaching, peer interaction, market trading and network events for our clients. The programme provides a voice for women from diverse cultural backgrounds who aspire to self-employment and business as a career choice. Through our partnership with Bradford Kickstart we have been able to provide this service at a reduced or no cost to our clients. All areas of our service are designed for women. We aim to build confidence and self-esteem. Through our work we address the multiple barriers women can face such as childcare, maintaining a work/life balance and cultural/language barriers.

Crucially, we ensure that the programme is tailored to every woman’s individual needs, meets her aspirations and supports her in setting and reaching her own goals.

Since the programme began in Bradford three years ago, we have engaged over 500 local women, many of whom were not in employment, education or training (NEET) or 'hard-to-reach'. We assisted over 300 pre-start businesses and created over 50 businesses. Last year we celebrated our success when we were awarded the Prowess Flagship Award for Excellence in Women's Enterprise.
